2 Granny Smith apples (peeled 1 3/4 c. sugar
and cut into 8 wedges each) 2 tsp. vanilla
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls 1/4 c. sugar/cinnamon mixture
(do not use cheaper brand) 20 oz. Mountain Dew
2 sticks melted butter 1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°. Roll each apple wedge into a crescent roll starting at large end of roll. Place in pan. Mix together butter, sugar, vanilla and pour over rolls. Pour Mountain Dew over rolls. Top with sugar/cinnamon and nuts. Bake uncovered to 30-40 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes before serving.
